Cleveland State University’s Residence Life collaborated with the Recreation Center on Wednesday, March 27 to bring kitten yoga to CSU. Projected to become a yearly event, the University partnered with Alleycats & Aristocats, a cat rescue serving the Northeast Ohio area.

The event was free to residents of CSU and all fifty spots available were filled a week before the event. Kitten yoga also served as a fundraiser for the organization, helping to raise money to promote both adoption and Trap-Neuter-Return services.

Residents brought their own yoga mats and poured into the Recreation Center as cats available for adoption through the organizations wandered through the rows of students. The event was overall quite a success, bringing joy to CSU students and helping out cats in need.

Anyone can donate to further support Alleycats & Aristocats here.
