Down 33% from the week prior, there were 14 crime log entries from Oct. 20 through Oct. 26, according to the Cleveland State University Sixty Day Crime Log.
Contributing to the decrease were one fire alarm and one supervisory smoke alarm, while the average combined number of alarms is about eight per week.
Four counts of motor vehicle trespass, six counts of criminal damaging or endangering, four counts of theft and three counts of petty theft are also on the list of this week’s crimes, with the majority listed as open felonies.
At the Langston, there was one report of improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation, an open felony.
No arrests have been made in the attempted robbery, another felony, against a CSU student at the corner of E. 18th St. and Chester Avenue.
