CSU Police responds to two reports of sexual assault on campus

Cleveland State Police are actively responding to two reports of sexual assault on campus, both in which a male student allegedly inappropriately touched a female student, reported by the university March 2, 2023 at 7:33 p.m. via email.

In both instances, the suspect is described as a “19-to-22-year-old, bearded, brown-skinned male of South Asian descent, approximately 5’ 10” tall, weighing about 170 lbs. He was wearing a black jacket, brown Puma hoodie and blue jeans and was carrying a white Arctic backpack.”

The first incident took place in Rhodes Tower, the second inside a Berkman Hall elevator.

The university urges anyone with information on the incidents or any similar encounters to contact CSU Police at 216-687-2020.
