Greater Cleveland spooktacular events this October 

Halloween is approaching; here are some Greater Cleveland events CSU students can attend to get in the spooky spirit this October. 

Spooky Pooch Parade 

Registration is open for LakewoodAlive’s Annual Spooky Pooch Parade. The Spooky Pooch Parade will take place on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 13201 Madison Ave. in Lakewood. This is a free festival for humans, but $10 per dog for pre-registration and $15 per dog for registration at the event. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are permitted as long as they wear their Halloween costume. There will be a prize for the spookiest dressed Pooch. Thrilling Halloween Dance Class

Browns Fit will hold a Thrilling Halloween Dance Class on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7:00 p.m. at 1111 West 10th Street. The class is teaching the choreography to Thriller by Michael Jackson. Halloween: Fright in The Flats 

Shooters On The Water will hold a Halloween Fright In The Flats this year. The event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. at 1148 Main Ave. There will be a DJ dance party, costume contest with cash prizes, Halloween drinks, and more! For more information, visit

The 5th Annual Halloween Bar Crawl
The Annual Cleveland Halloween Bar Crawl is expected to be the biggest crawl of the year hosted by Crawl With US. The event will take place Saturday, Oct 29 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. at The Corner Alley, located at 402 Euclid Ave. Attendees must be at least 21 years old to participate.
