Are you looking for a vegan-friendly restaurant near campus? Look no further! I have recently stumbled upon Cleveland Vegan, a completely vegan restaurant and bakery in Lakewood.
This restaurant lies only 15 minutes away from campus. Cleveland Vegan offers a multitude of bakery and food items. On the bakery front, I recommend the vegan and gluten-free peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies, along with the vegan churro cupcake. On the food front, I recommend the gyro. The restaurant also features milkshakes, muffins, scones, tons of dinner and brunch options, and coffee— all 100% vegan.
I understand how difficult it can be to find a restaurant that offers dairy-free or vegan options that you can go to with non-vegans. Even the most meat-loving friends will fall in love with Cleveland Vegan. I brought my entire family (very non-vegan) the giant cookies and churro cupcakes to try, and they were all amazed.
They said they could not even tell that it was vegan! I have a feeling that they will all want to go back and try more of the vast menu. I, for one, will definitely be back. Cleveland Vegan is a perfect restaurant for vegans and meat- and dairy-lovers alike.
