Satire: Blackboard joins Twitter as the latest to add a “stories” feature.

“Stories” are the new hip feature being added to any and every app. Pioneered by Snapchat, borrowed by Instagram, and seen everywhere from Youtube to LinkedIn, stories are self deleting photos and videos, usually used to share blurry concert videos and peddle Herbalife. Twitter just entered the game with its new “Fleets” feature, bringing nothing new to the table. Blackboard, however, an unlikely contender, is innovating the concept like never before seen. Professors can now use these self deleting posts to answer questions, make announcements, and share their disappointment at the class average. Likewise, students can use the feature to organize study groups and share their post exam cry for classmates to see and sympathize.
