Get excited! Although the physical film festival has been canceled there are many ways to get involved with Cleveland’s local arts! The staff at the Cleveland International Film Festival are hard at work reinventing CIFF44.
CIFF released their highly anticipated festival trailer on March 25, the would-be opening night, per tradition. It features a song from local musicians Astronymer and Jul Big Green encouraging the viewer to “see beyond” in a whimsical animation. Along with the release of the trailer, the film festival’s own podcast is releasing episodes of “CIFF Speaks,” which can be found on Spotify, iTunes, Stitcher and most preferred platforms.
This podcast is hosted by Dee Perry and Aaron Spears, and may even feature special guests and giveaways.
Worried about missing out on all the new films? CIFF announced details about its new program, “CIFF Streams,” where subscribers of popular streaming platforms (i.e Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc.) can watch what would have been this year’s films. Previous year’s films are also currently available for home viewing. For full info on what and where films are available, visit clevelandfilms.org/alums.
